The landscape of this challenging hike on the Cornettes de Bise is sumptuous, but this route is for seasoned hikers. You will climb the highest peak in the region at 2418m above sea level.

The warm-up is gradual, and the ascent starts gently. Once you reach the Serouquin couloir, things get complicated, and it becomes a steep climb in scree. Then, a little flat respite feels good before starting the last part, which has some airy and technical passages.

The view once on the ridges is sublime, offering a magnificent panorama of Lake Geneva and all the surrounding peaks, notably the Mont Blanc Massif. The effort is well rewarded!

The descent is smooth and will give you time to admire the fauna and flora. Keep your eyes open; ibexes will likely be your companions on the way.
